About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor at The Arlington Hotel helps create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for guests. The role leads and supports the housekeeping team, inspects guest rooms and public areas, and helps maintain hotel cleanliness, presentation, and security standards. The position is part-time and permanent, with compensation of $20.00–$22.00 per hour. It is an existing vacancy replacing a currently unfilled position.

Requirements

1–2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Positive and approachable manner, with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
Reliability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability for flexible daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Comfort working with cleaning products and following safety procedures.
Clear criminal background check.
Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and hotel security standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the housekeeping team by providing clear direction, coaching, and support.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards before use.
Update housekeeping schedules, task lists, and room assignments to reflect daily business needs.
Maintain hotel rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in line with C Hotel standards.
Organize and maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and equipment, and replenish supplies as needed.
Protect the confidentiality and security of guest rooms, personal belongings, and hotel property.
Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that contributes to a positive guest experience.
Use sound judgment and provide supportive leadership.
Encourage positive change and build a collaborative, motivated housekeeping team.
Perform other related duties to support smooth hotel and venue operations.
