About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Hotel Cala, a luxury hotel scheduled to open in January 2027 in Tampa. The position supports the hotel's service culture and oversees housekeeping quality, associate readiness, and safety. The supervisor may also serve as Manager on Duty when required. The role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a leadership housekeeping position.
High school education or equivalent level of education.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time management skills.

Post-high-school education preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair.
Ensure associates have appropriate supplies, equipment, and uniforms, including nametags, gloves, and goggles.
Train associates on safety standards, enforce those standards, identify unsafe behavior, and retrain associates as needed.
Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
Perform necessary housekeeping duties, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
Randomly select assigned rooms to check cleanliness.
Perform opening and closing shift duties.
Notify the General Manager and/or Chief Engineer of required maintenance repairs.
Monitor cleanliness of the hotel, including the parking lot and exterior entrances.
Act as Manager on Duty when required.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
