About The Position

The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas at The Cedars of Chapel Hill, an upscale retirement community with over 400 Members. The role is full time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position supports a safe, clean, customer-focused environment and requires maintaining Member confidentiality.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Maintain Member confidentiality at all times.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, clean bathrooms and kitchens, and dust cleared flat surfaces in apartments.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in hallways and common areas as directed by the supervisor.
• Complete work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Use golf carts safely.
• Maintain Member confidentiality at all times.
