About The Position
The Housekeeping Manager ensures efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and supervises the entire department, including rooms, front and back of house, public areas, and laundry. The position is classified as exempt. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to complete their responsibilities. Exempt managers must customarily and regularly direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents. More than 50 percent of primary duties must consist of administrative, executive, or professional tasks, and more than 50 percent of job duties must involve discretion and independent judgment. The Balfour Hotel is a boutique property in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. It combines 1940s design with modern touches and features a rooftop pool, Mediterranean-inspired dining at Laurel, and SoFi Coffee. The team supports a calm, refined guest experience near the beach, with amenities highlighting local culture and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Supervise the entire Housekeeping Department, including rooms, front and back of house, public areas, and laundry.
- Direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents.
- Complete job responsibilities as necessary throughout the workday.
