About The Position

The Housekeeping Manager oversees the performance of housekeeping staff and ensures the hotel is clean and sanitized. The role maintains high standards of presentation, maintenance, and cleanliness throughout the hotel while protecting guest safety and confidentiality. The position supervises housekeeping staff and is full-time, with work hours and days varying according to business needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of supervisor experience.
• High school education.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational and safety procedures are followed.
• Establish schedules and plan daily work assignments.
• Train and coach employees in laundry, housekeeping, and dry cleaning.
• Manage customer housekeeping problems.
• Inspect and approve staff work performance.
• Provide leadership and training to staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff.
• Meet production goals.
• Develop and train staff on policy.
• Order cleaning materials and maintain the budget.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
