About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector maintains cleanliness and quality control in guest units and public common areas at the resort while providing outstanding customer service to owners, guests, and their families. The role inspects rooms and other assigned areas to ensure they meet the resort’s cleanliness, quality, and working-order standards. The inspector also reports quality and maintenance issues, replaces missing inventory, secures departmental assets and supplies, and helps management maintain accurate linen and supply inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to perform multiple assignments.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with team members and guests.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cleaned guest rooms and assigned units to ensure they meet resort cleanliness, quality, and working-order standards.
• Inspect assigned public common areas.
• Report quality problems to management and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Complete written inspections on units as designated by management.
• Replace missing inventory items in units.
• Report maintenance problems to management and suspicious activities to security.
• Ensure departmental assets and supplies are secured in storage at all times.
• Assist management in maintaining an accurate inventory of linen and supplies.
• Assist co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service to owners, guests, and their families.
