About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector maintains cleanliness and quality control in guest units and public common areas at Casa Del Mar Resort while providing outstanding customer service to owners, guests, and their families. The role inspects assigned units and public areas against resort quality standards, cleans those areas as assigned, and reports quality issues to management to ensure corrective action is taken. The inspector also completes written inspections as designated, replaces missing unit inventory, reports maintenance concerns to management and suspicious activity to security, secures departmental assets and supplies in storage, and assists management with accurate linen and supply inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to perform multiple assignments.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with team members and guests.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned units to ensure they meet the resort’s quality standards.
• Inspect assigned public common areas.
• Clean units and public common areas as assigned.
• Report quality problems to management and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Perform written inspections on units as designated by management.
• Replace missing inventory items in units.
• Report maintenance problems to management and suspicious activities to security.
• Keep departmental assets and supplies secure in storage.
• Assist management in maintaining an accurate inventory of linen and supplies.
• Provide outstanding customer service to owners, guests, and their families.
