About The Position

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to join the housekeeping team at The Opus, Westchester. The role supports the housekeeping team in keeping guest rooms and public areas clean, safe, and welcoming. It involves hands-on upkeep of service standards, assisting team members, and contributing to guest satisfaction.

The position requires regular attendance, a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays, and physical work such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. The anticipated compensation for applicants working in NYC or New York is $23.94 per hour; the salary offered may depend on factors including experience, education, and work location.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants, including delivering supplies directly to them when needed.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors; polish and clean mirrors, guest-room door numbers, and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and follow through to resolution.
• Support a positive, respectful team culture through clear communication and cooperation.
• Follow safety procedures and take ownership of work.
