About The Position

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support the housekeeping team at The Opus, Westchester. The role helps keep guest rooms and public areas clean, safe, and welcoming while supporting service standards and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Houseperson stocks supplies, handles soiled linen and trash, cleans and maintains hallways and other shared areas, and completes other assigned duties. The position involves physical work in a fast-paced environment and requires a dependable, guest-focused team member who can follow safety procedures and support a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants, including delivering supplies directly to them when needed.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, guest room door numbers, and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned.
• Follow attendance rules and maintain regular availability for work.
• Handle concerns professionally and follow through to ensure resolution.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Support a positive, respectful team culture through communication and cooperation.
