About The Position
The Housekeeping Coordinator coordinates uniforms, alterations, and tailoring, and assists with coordinating hotel rooms to ensure supplies and amenities are fully stocked and rooms meet HHM and brand standards for cleanliness and maintenance. The role also responds to guest requests, supports staffing tasks when covering for managers, and performs laundry and linen duties. A potential career path is Housekeeping Inspector, Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate uniforms, alterations, and tailoring.
- Answer phones about guest requests, and articulate and carry out the guests’ needs.
- Assist in coordinating staffing tasks when covering for managers.
- Perform minor alterations and operate commercial sewing equipment to achieve professional alteration results.
- Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.
- Load and unload washers and dryers.
- Maintain equipment as trained.
- Fold, store, and distribute towels and linens.
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
