About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant works at the Navy Lodge on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Silverdale, Washington, helping provide a welcoming stay for military guests and their families. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and assigned areas, communicating room status to the supervisor, and greeting guests courteously. Applicants must have military base access or be U.S. citizens and must pass an employment criminal background check. No experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The work requires moderate physical effort, including moving furniture and using hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and other assigned areas.
• Communicate the status of cleaned rooms and other spaces to the supervisor through completion of daily assignments or the housekeeping property management system.
• Greet guests with a pleasant acknowledgement when seen within 10 feet.
