About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic store appearance for customers and associates. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks both inside and outside the store, ensuring a pleasant environment for everyone.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, pleasant, and hygienic environment for customers and associates both inside the store and around the outside façade.
Clean entrance glass.
Pressure-wash and remove gum from store sidewalks.
Dust-mop and, when necessary, wet-mop all hard surfaces of the store floor, removing scuff marks, scratches, etc.
Vacuum carpeted store floor surfaces and area mats.
Spot-clean walls and surfaces when needed.
Clean the air conditioning vents.
Empty main trash cans and replace liners.
Clean and maintain all store restrooms, including cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, and urinals, cleaning and polishing fixtures, keeping paper dispensers stocked, refilling soap dispensers, cleaning base molding, cleaning air vents/diffusers, replacing air fresheners, wiping down and sanitizing partitions, cleaning the underside of sinks, toilets, and urinals, wiping walls around trash bins, and wiping down inside and outside of fridge and water coolers.
Work with store staff to keep the store clean, removing trash and sweeping floors regularly.
Dust and clean inventory in the warehouse and on the store floor, and display items on the store floor as needed.
Empty trash cans in all areas of the store regularly.
Greet customers with a warm smile and friendly greeting whenever they walk within ten feet.
Demonstrate a Customer Centric attitude by greeting and serving customers in an engaging and friendly manner and going above and beyond to understand each customer and solve for each one’s unique need.
