About The Position
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic store appearance for customers and associates. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the store interior, exterior façade, floors, restrooms, inventory, and display items; coordinating with store staff to keep the store clean; and providing friendly, customer-centered service. The associate is expected to complete tasks with accountability, take pride in their work, and support teammates across the store and company.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment inside the store and around the outside façade, including cleaning entrance glass, pressure-washing sidewalks and removing gum, dust-mopping and wet-mopping hard floors, removing scuff marks and scratches, vacuuming carpet and area mats, and spot-cleaning walls and surfaces.
- Clean air-conditioning vents.
- Empty main trash cans and replace liners; regularly empty trash cans throughout the store.
- Clean and maintain store restrooms, including disinfecting sinks, toilets, and urinals; polishing fixtures; stocking paper dispensers; refilling soap; cleaning base molding, vents, and partitions; replacing air fresheners; cleaning underneath fixtures; wiping walls near trash bins; and cleaning refrigerators and water coolers inside and outside.
- Work with store staff to keep the store clean by removing trash and sweeping floors regularly.
- Dust and clean warehouse and store-floor inventory and display items as needed.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, engaging service, seeking to understand and address each customer's needs.
- Continually improve knowledge of the latest trends in the department and take pride in work.
- Complete assigned tasks with integrity and transparency.
- Help teammates across the store and company when possible.
