About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Housekeeping Associates to help maintain the club and provide excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The role supports a clean, sanitary, presentable, and well-maintained club environment, including its exercise equipment, locker rooms, entrance, and other work areas. Associates may also assist with deliveries and special events, and notify the Housekeeping Manager when rooms or equipment need immediate attention. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to ensure proper department operations.

Requirements

Understand what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
Ability to service athletic equipment.
Previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools.
Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Must have a legal right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
Keep the sidewalk entrance and lobby presentable.
Clean locker rooms and stock locker room consumables.
Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor.
Provide maintenance for all equipment.
Receive and store deliveries.
Assist with special events.
Notify the Housekeeping Manager when rooms or equipment need immediate attention.
