About The Position
The Housekeeping Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly childcare center so children can learn and grow in a healthy environment. The role includes janitorial work throughout the building, classrooms, and playground; cleaning and maintaining school equipment and facilities; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays. Applicants should be comfortable working around children, willing to learn and grow in a team environment, and meet applicable state and center or school requirements. Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment effective January 1, 2024.

Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
- Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
