About The Position
The Child Care Center Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly childcare center so children can learn and grow in a healthy environment. The role includes janitorial work throughout the building, classrooms, and playground; cleaning school equipment and facilities; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays. The position is with La Petite Academy of Green Bay, part of Learning Care Group, Inc.
Requirements
- Comfortable working around children.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
- Must meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Perform janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
- Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
