About The Position

The Child Care Center Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly childcare center so children can learn and grow. The role includes cleaning the building, classrooms, and playground; completing janitorial tasks; handling trash; cleaning equipment and fixtures; maintaining restroom supplies; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must meet state education requirements and the center/school's requirements.
• Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment, effective January 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows and restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
