About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and support children’s learning and development. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and developing skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children. Assistant Teachers also communicate with families and complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. Candidates should be energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children, and able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Assistant Teacher pay is $19.43–$20.19. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. The work week is Monday through Friday.
