About The Position

The Legacy of North Myrtle Beach is hiring a full-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, orderly, first-class environment in its senior living community. The role supports residents by providing a clean home and helps maintain and strengthen the community’s reputation. The scheduled day shift is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The housekeeper performs general housekeeping in resident suites, public areas, and support areas, and collects, cleans, and redistributes community laundry. Team members have access to Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows them to access earned wages before payday.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred.
Able to operate cleaning equipment such as an iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Ability to deal with standardized situations involving only occasional or no variables.
Ability to follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment, which may require basic math conversions.
Basic knowledge of English and ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding company quality standards.
Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
Partner with the community team to support OSHA compliance and promote risk management programs, policies, and safety rules.
Follow safety procedures, including those involving personal protective equipment, fire extinguishers, Material Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout.
Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to established procedures.
Work quickly without compromising quality.
