About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains a clean, orderly environment in resident suites, public areas, and support areas in a senior living community. The role also includes collecting, cleaning, and redistributing community laundry. Housekeepers work with the community team to support OSHA compliance, risk management, and safety procedures. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as an iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
• Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment, which may require basic math conversions.
• Basic knowledge of English and ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding company quality standards.
• Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
• Partner with the community team to support OSHA compliance and the promotion of risk management programs and policies.
• Follow safety rules and procedures, including use of personal protective equipment and proper practices involving fire extinguishers, MSDS, and Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
