About The Position

The Housekeeper supports the Carolina Yacht Club’s mission to provide first-class facilities and maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics. The role helps create a clean and orderly environment for members and contributes to the club’s reputation for integrity and attention to detail.

Requirements

Able to lift 25 pounds.
Able to work on their feet for long periods.
Able to multitask and plan ahead to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Shows initiative by identifying tasks that need to be completed without being told.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time according to the assigned schedule and wear the appropriate uniform.
Keep all common areas clean and free of debris.
Clean club restrooms and keep them stocked with essentials.
Remove trash from administrative offices.
Perform light housekeeping in office areas.
Vacuum dining rooms before lunch and dinner service.
Mop hardwood and tile floors before member arrival.
Maintain the laundry and wash and dry towels in a timely manner.
Polish brass and silver trophies.
Dust picture frames, paintings, and artifacts daily.
Report supply needs to the manager.
Stock all back areas where supplies are kept.
Be respectful in interactions with members.
