HOUSEKEEPER - AMBULATORY SERVICES (PART TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for ambulatory services at Ridgway Community Medical Building in Ridgway, Pennsylvania. The role performs specialized cleaning and disinfection in an ambulatory healthcare facility, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas. The schedule is part time, with days that may vary and shifts starting after 4:00 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. The position pays $12.00 to $12.50 per hour, with a $2.50 evening shift differential. A flexible schedule is offered. Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect surfaces using provided chemicals.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
- Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
- Move chairs, stools, waste, linen and biohazardous bins, small wheeled equipment, scales, and other items for cleaning, then return items to their recommended layout.
- Clean floors by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
- Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste, and routinely clean their containers.
- Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
- Arm and disarm alarm systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
