About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for Ambulatory Services at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. The role performs specialized cleaning and disinfection in ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; no weekends or holidays are required at the CS and Rova Buildings. The fixed pay rate is $15.50 per hour. Online applications only.

Requirements

At least six months of prior housekeeping experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Disinfect surfaces using provided chemicals.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
Move chairs, stools, waste, linen and biohazardous bins, small wheeled equipment, scales, and other items to clean properly, then return them to the recommended layout.
Clean floors by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste, and routinely clean their containers.
Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
Arm and disarm alarm systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
