About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for Ambulatory Services at UPMC Community LifeTeam EMS in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The role performs specialized cleaning and disinfecting in ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with additional details provided during the interview. No prior experience is required; training is available. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
No prior experience is required; willingness to train.

Responsibilities

Disinfect surfaces using provided chemicals.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
Move chairs, stools, waste, linen and biohazard bins, small wheeled equipment, scales, and other items to clean properly, then return items to their recommended layout.
Clean floors by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste, and routinely clean the containers.
Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
Arm and disarm alarm systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
