About The Position

The Housekeeper works at Texas Health Cleburne in Cleburne, Texas, as a full-time day-shift employee. This role contributes to a teamwork-oriented, fast-paced, high-volume department and receives mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources. The Housekeeper cleans assigned areas according to procedures and established infection-control, sanitation, and safety guidelines. The role also replenishes linens and supplies, prepares housekeeping carts and work areas for the next service period, and maintains equipment. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and remain flexible in assignments.
Ability to work around housekeeping chemicals.
Full range of motion and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas according to procedures and established infection-control, sanitation, and safety guidelines, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash and dirty linen, and cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers, and beds.
Replenish linen and other supplies, such as paper towels, trash bags, and toilet tissue, in assigned areas.
Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare the work area for the next service period.
Keep equipment clean and report broken equipment to the supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
