About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices according to established procedures and safety guidelines. The Housekeeper maintains cleaning records, reports maintenance or safety issues, follows infection-control policies, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. The position pays USD $12.00–$12.50 per hour. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
