About The Position

The Housekeeper cleans resident living spaces and a range of shared, clinical, and work areas according to established procedures. The role also maintains cleaning supplies and accurate records, and follows infection-control, hazardous-waste, and other safety policies. The schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Requirements

Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
A good sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multitask and work well with others.
Ability to use a computer.
May be required to drive a car or golf cart; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect and clean resident living spaces, nurses’ stations, resident and team-member common areas, lounges and break rooms, utility, treatment, therapy and workrooms and offices, corridors, elevators, stairways, and entrances according to established procedures.
Maintain supplies of cleaning equipment and materials.
Maintain appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
Comply with and assist with infection control, hazardous-waste removal, and other safety precautions, guidelines, and policies.
