About The Position
Brookings Health System is seeking a reliable, hard-working Environmental Services Technician to help deliver high-quality care and personalized service. The position is responsible for general housekeeping and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the health system. Duties include sanitizing patient care areas, waiting areas, work surfaces, patient and resident rooms, and restrooms. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position on the evening shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The successful candidate shares in a rotation of weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in various situations.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping processes.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain the overall cleanliness of Brookings Health System.
- Sanitize patient care areas, waiting areas, work surfaces, patient and resident rooms, and restrooms.
