About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units and following MasterCorp’s mission and values. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and common areas within units, preparing units for inspection, reporting maintenance or inventory issues, and supporting guest services and storage-closet organization. Housekeepers must maintain a safe work environment, respond promptly to guest complaints, and ensure units are turned over on time. Additional tasks may be assigned by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Ability to make decisions.
Planning and scheduling capabilities.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Promptness and timeliness with assignments.
Passion for cleanliness.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to learn and change behavior.
Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of excellence.
Strip units of soiled linens and remove trash.
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks, and other areas of units.
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
Perform weekly guest-services cleans as directed.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
Attend training sessions and apply what is learned.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Help resolve guest complaints promptly.
Maintain a high sense of urgency to turn units on time.
Complete additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
