About The Position

Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Camp-Resort’s cleanliness, maintaining brand standards, and exceeding guest expectations in rental units and public areas. This is a guest-facing position involving regular interaction with guests during their stay. The role calls for close attention to detail in cabins and throughout the Camp-Resort’s public areas. It is a seasonal position that may be full-time or part-time and reports to the housekeeping supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
• Current First Aid/CPR and AED certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional guest-relations skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA safety training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, sanitize, and maintain all areas of the property.
• Support guests’ experience and satisfaction.
• Conduct quality audits of facilities and rental units and address deficiencies promptly.
• Inventory supplies.
• Communicate with the front office and other departments about which units are ready for guests.
• Assist with onsite laundry operations.
• Complete bathroom cleaning logs and upload them to Dropbox each week.
• Audit rental units to verify correct items and quantities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies that regulate resort operations.
