About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control policies; and documenting cleaning activities. The Housekeeper also reports maintenance or safety issues and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. The listed hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The starting pay rate is $13.00 per hour. High school diploma or equivalent is required; previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. The position requires compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, residence within the service area, and the ability to perform the stated physical tasks and follow oral and written instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Reside within the service area.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
