About The Position

Housekeepers / Room Attendants help create a restful and relaxing stay for guests by ensuring rooms are clean and sanitized. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, hotel and lodge common areas, and cabins, as well as responding to housekeeping requests. Work may be done individually or with a partner, with duties performed to a high standard of quality and under minimal supervision. The position is based in a remote but social environment and requires a guest-service-oriented approach.

Requirements

Ability to work without supervision and complete tasks on time to a high standard of quality.

Guest-service-oriented mindset and passion for delivering memorable experiences.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform manual duties such as bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching.
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, consistency, and follow-through under minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards.
Current Alberta Pro Serve Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Tidy, dust, and vacuum guest rooms.
Replace linens and make beds.
Clean and disinfect washrooms.
Respond to housekeeping requests from guests.
Clean and sanitize rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges, and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors, and surfaces.
Complete cleaning thoroughly and on time.
Assist with cleaning public areas, washrooms, and elevators when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
