About The Position
The Housekeeper/Laundry employee is responsible for the cleanliness and servicing of all assigned areas at Reunion Plaza Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Tyler, Texas. This PRN position follows a schedule as assigned, which includes some weekends, holidays, and evenings. The role is non-exempt.
Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to learn and carry out housekeeping and safety/emergency procedures.
- Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks as well as new or specific tasks as assigned.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and direction independently and from supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and service all assigned areas.
- Report broken facility equipment and resident-use equipment to a supervisor.
- Know and participate in the facility emergency preparedness plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
