About The Position
The Carriages of Bloomington is seeking dedicated housekeepers to maintain its building and resident apartments in an assisted living community with a family-like atmosphere. The environmental services team is led by a manager who invests time in frontline staff. The role includes working in assisted living and memory care settings and maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation protocols in a healthcare setting.
Requirements
- A strong desire to help others and compassion for older adults.
- A love for cleaning.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma.
- At least one year of experience.
- Successful completion of a full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical examination, drug test, and TB testing is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident apartments, including changing beds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.
- Handle laundry and linens weekly or as needed.
- Clean common areas, including bathrooms, social spaces, the wellness area, and entryways and exits.
- Assist maintenance staff with room turnovers, carpet cleaning, and use of the floor scrubber.
- Maintain proper sanitation protocols for a healthcare setting.
- Work in assisted living and memory care settings.
