About The Position

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper / Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors while also assisting with the facility’s laundry needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, able to work independently, and committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping, laundry, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as needed.
Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste.
Clean and maintain floors and other surfaces according to facility standards.
Assist with cleaning resident rooms following room changes, discharges, and admissions.
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute facility laundry and resident clothing.
Properly label and organize resident clothing and personal items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
Follow infection-control and sanitation procedures.
Properly use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy and personal belongings.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
