About The Position

Performs daily cleaning tasks for assigned areas within the hospital and/or affiliate locations, including all aspects of floor care, in accordance with department guidelines and applicable state, federal, and local standards and regulations. Maintains assigned areas so they are clean, safe, and environmentally comfortable for patients, residents, visitors, and employees. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Must understand basic verbal and written English instructions.
Must speak English at a level that allows safe and efficient performance of essential job duties.
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions about the timing and methods of daily cleaning tasks.
Must be able to pass a physical examination as required.
Must demonstrate the ability to properly use supplies, light tools, and equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required.
One year of floor care experience preferred.
