Housekeeper II
About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper II at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, Massachusetts. The role is 32 hours per week on the day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, the Housekeeper II performs departmental functions to established standards, including removing soiled linen and trash, cleaning and disinfecting floors and bathroom fixtures, cleaning discharge beds, and keeping equipment and janitors' closets clean. Pay is based on experience, with a stated range of $16.96 to $22.82 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications and instructions.
- Ability to work well as a team player.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
