About The Position

Morrow County Health District is hiring a temporary full-time Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in the District's apartment, clinic buildings, and hospital in Heppner, Oregon. The role performs environmental services and floor care while following established schedules and standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to offsite cleaning locations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, resident rooms, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash, sanitize, and perform other environmental services duties according to established schedules and standards.
• Collect, transport, and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
• Perform assigned floor care duties, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
