Housekeeper I
About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper I to maintain clean, orderly, and safe conditions in assigned rooms and areas at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. The position works a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 32-flex-40-hour schedule and weekend and holiday rotation. Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Environmental Services, or designee, the Housekeeper performs cleaning and servicing duties according to established methods and procedures. Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system serving communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The organization describes its workplaces as inclusive and its approach as community-focused and care-driven. Pay is determined based on experience and ranges from $16.48 to $23.17 per hour. Benefits and programs are available to regular-status employees scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for a medical or personal exemption by signing a statement after hire.
