Housekeeper I
About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper I to maintain clean, orderly, and safe conditions in assigned rooms and areas at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Environmental Services, or designee, the Housekeeper performs cleaning and servicing duties according to established methods and procedures, with minimal supervision. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week on the evening shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation. Pay is based on experience and ranges from $16.48 to $23.17 per hour. The role requires seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination, or an approved medical or personal exemption documented by signing a statement after hire.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for a medical or personal exemption and sign a statement documenting the choice to be exempt after hire.
