About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an experienced per diem House Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership for hospital operations across all shifts, year-round. The role coordinates hospital-wide nursing operations and patient care, supporting safe and efficient patient flow from admission through discharge and transfer. The House Supervisor monitors hospital capacity and bed availability, oversees staffing and resource allocation, coordinates emergency response, and provides timely administrative and clinical decision-making to support effective patient care. The position serves as a clinical and operational resource to nursing staff, providers, ancillary departments, patients, and visitors, and supports nurses in exercising clinical judgment and autonomy by providing guidance and resources when complex clinical or operational situations arise.

This is a per diem position for 0–16 hours per week with variable shifts. Jefferson Healthcare offers a 15% wage increase in place of benefits.

Requirements

• Current Washington state RN license in good standing.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
• At least five years of acute care and/or ICU/ED nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
