About The Position

The Administrative House Supervisor, under the direction of the Director, Patient Care Support Services, is responsible for patient flow throughout the organization, nurse staffing, and general supervision of hospital activities during the assigned shift. The role ensures that standards are met and policies and procedures are followed. In collaboration with Department Managers, the supervisor plans, organizes, and directs services to provide safe and effective care according to patient needs. The position also evaluates and manages designated personnel on the assigned shift and serves as a role model by demonstrating Enloe Medical Center’s core values.

Requirements

• At least five years of acute care nursing experience with demonstrated supervisory ability.
• Current licensure by the California Board of Registered Nurses.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including JCAHO standards and Title 22 regulations.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, financial management and reporting, quality improvement processes, and human resources management.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information, and solve problems.
• Technical competence and professional clinical judgment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for support functions.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Recent management or supervisory experience.
