About The Position

We are looking for a House Manager to join our inpatient treatment team in St. Louis. The House Manager provides management and supervision of the residential monitor and administrative staff. The Manager develops schedules and ensures shift coverage. Provides supportive and functional care to clients with routine daily care in accordance with established care procedures as directed by nursing leadership. Works as a member of and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team with a focus on maintaining the client as the director of their care.

Requirements

  • Active CMT or Level 1 Medication Certified with MO Dept of Health and Senior Services
  • Previous experience with creating, managing, or maintaining employee schedules
  • Computer skills sufficient to access email, internet, and to document in client’s medical record
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
  • Good customer service skills
  • CPR certification and first aid training
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of clients.
  • Requires valid Missouri Driver’s License, insurance coverage and ability to safely transport clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates support services for the facility, including food services, maintenance services, and medical services provided to residents.
  • Coordinates the work of counselors assigned to the facility by ensuring clients are meeting treatment plan goals, including rent payments, required group attendance, and completion of assigned chores. Works closely with assigned counselors and maintains daily communication with clinical staff. Participates in and contributes to weekly clinical staffing meetings with counselors.
  • Oversees and is responsible for the delivery of core facility services, including rent collection, coordination of resident house chores, collaboration with monitors to ensure compliance, and oversight of medication administration processes.
  • Provide comprehensive training for new monitors on all aspects of the monitor role.
  • Train new employees on SunWave and other computer systems.
  • Ensure system access is obtained on the first day of hire.
  • Maintain and manage the monitor schedule, ensuring all shifts are filled. Personally cover vacant shifts when safety or operational needs require.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating monthly monitor meetings.
  • Serve as the dayshift monitor, Monday through Friday.
  • Order and maintain necessary supplies for all departments.
  • Report on employee conduct concerns to manager and Human Resources for appropriate review and investigation.
  • Responsible for the performance management of monitors.
  • Track and report attendance issues to Human Resources.
  • Review and promptly respond to all Harris House email communications.
  • Participate in management training as required.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
