We are a warm and active family of five based in Raleigh, NC. Our home is full of energy with three school-aged kids (ages 13, 11 and 7) and a small but spirited dog. With one parent working from home and the other frequently on the road for a demanding career, we often operate with one parent steering the ship. To help balance it all, we are looking for a dedicated house manager to be the true backbone of our home and keep our daily lives running smoothly. We love spending time together as a family, but we are definitely busy! Between school or camp, afternoon activities and sports, there's never a dull moment for us. We have come to embrace the natural ebb and flow of life, and pride ourselves on maintaining a go-with-the-flow mindset. In our home, plans shift, schedules change, and life moves fast, and we are looking for someone who fits naturally and comfortably into that rhythm. We have been incredibly fortunate to have fantastic household support over the years, and we value a collaborative team dynamic. We have built wonderful, lasting relationships with people who are proactive, adaptable, and genuinely invested in what they do. We'd love to find someone who shares that flexible, positive outlook to join us! You are flexible, calm under pressure, organized by nature, and bring a genuine project manager mentality to everything they touch. You see a task through from start to finish, and no task is too big or too small. You are highly adaptable and genuinely go with the flow — in this household, plans evolve frequently and flexibility is not just preferred, it's essential. You thrive working independently but also enjoy being a collaborative part of a family team. You are detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and the kind of person who notices what needs to be done before being asked. You are comfortable routinely driving and transporting children, but do not mind stepping in for direct childcare (including overnights) if needed. You enjoy meal-prepping, organizational projects are your jam, and you thrive in a role where every day brings something new. You take direction well and can also operate with autonomy when we are busy or out of the house. You bring a steady, professional presence that helps the household feel more grounded, even on the busiest days. You understand how to hold a household calendar, communicate proactively, and adapt your priorities as the week shifts. You are not someone who is rattled by change — you are someone who helps manage it. Since we highly value flexibility and communication, we of course extend the same courtesy to the people in our home. While we’d love to work with someone with direct house management experience, we still welcome you to apply if you have the transferrable skills to support our family!
