About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking an Hourly Plant Foreman for the Rutherford Quarry in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The role assists the Plant Manager in coordinating production activities, contractors, and craft workers in the pit and plant environment. The foreman monitors the work performance, progress, and productivity of operators and miners and helps maintain a strong safety focus across the production team. This is a full-time, day-shift position. Wages are based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in the aggregate materials industry or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of equipment used in aggregate production, including fixed plant and mobile heavy equipment.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to communicate a safety mindset to the production team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Some management training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant and equipment operations to meet production schedules set by the Superintendent in the most cost-effective manner possible.
• Oversee training and corporate safety procedures for plant and equipment operation to reduce injury-related lost time.
• Coordinate and participate in repairs to plant equipment and crushers to minimize downtime.
• Assist the Manager with applying corporate policies and procedures regarding employment, operations, and work environments.
• Monitor the work performance, progress, and productivity of operators and miners.
• Coordinate contractors and supervise craft workers within the pit and plant environment.
• Perform other assigned duties or assist other departments when requested by the Superintendent or Manager.
