About The Position

The Cashier at Omni Resort @ ChampionsGate is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing guests with attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality. The role includes greeting guests, answering questions, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and following established cash-handling and operating procedures. The position pays $15 per hour, and its schedule is listed as AM/PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to read and write standard English; understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos; and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations to guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, including performing these operations with American currency.
• Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems and rates applicable to elapsed time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers, and clients; promptly acknowledge and greet guests and treat everyone with courtesy, respect, and dignity.
• Remain accurate and composed under pressure, use the appropriate salutation, welcome guests, and follow Towne Park phone etiquette.
• Assist guests with directions and inquiries, including providing information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions.
• Determine guest charges and process cash, credit, or direct-billing payments; categorize tickets for audit purposes, reconcile revenue, and provide receipts.
• Complete timely and accurate shift reports, follow cash-bank procedures, operate registers, gates, and credit-card machines, and obtain information about daily events and rates.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier or Account Manager.
