About The Position

Renaissance Raleigh Hotel is hiring a full-time Hotel Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces in accordance with property standards. The role helps ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and associates while supporting hotel operations. The schedule is 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. three days a week, plus 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday. The technician responds to guest maintenance concerns, handles minor repairs, and inspects and maintains hotel fixtures, appliances, and furnishings. The role also involves following safety procedures, reporting incidents and serious issues, handling hazardous materials safely, assisting with emergencies, and providing courteous service to guests and respectful support to coworkers. Requirements

Responsibilities

Respond to guest inquiries about maintenance concerns in their rooms.
Conduct minor repairs, including tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching walls.
Inspect and maintain appliances, fixtures, grout, caulking, and furniture to ensure proper function.
Follow company and department safety policies and complete required safety training and certifications.
Immediately report accidents, injuries, or serious maintenance issues to management.
Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Maintain a professional appearance, including a clean uniform and nametag.
Provide courteous and timely service to guests and support coworkers with dignity and respect.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and reaching overhead.
Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or medical situations.
Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management.
