About The Position

The Maintenance Technician joins the Engineering team and helps ensure hotel equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently. The role assists with preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the property’s facilities to help provide a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused, with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with building and grounds projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and maintain safety standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Support other departments when needed and follow emergency and safety procedures.
• Inspire and support team members, promote a positive work environment, and lead with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism.
