About The Position

The Banquet Server helps create memorable guest experiences at receptions, meetings, trainings, reunions, and other special events. The role involves preparing event spaces and place settings according to Banquet Event Orders, serving food and beverages during plated and buffet meals, responding to guest questions and dietary needs, and maintaining clean tables throughout events. Servers also support coworkers during busy periods, perform side work, and learn banquet service styles through provided training while following brand and company standards.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior serving or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
Arrange place settings, tables, chairs, and linens according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Carry food trays from staging areas and pour water and wine while serving multiple-course meals and buffet lines.
Communicate with guests about menu questions and special dietary needs.
Set up and maintain clean tables between courses.
Assist fellow servers during peak periods to fulfill guest requests.
Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal service according to brand and company standards; training is provided.
Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
