About The Position

Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Leader to join their award-winning team as a Hotel Housekeeping Shift Manager. This role involves providing hands-on leadership to the housekeeping team, ensuring hotel rooms and public areas consistently exceed guest expectations for cleanliness, presentation, and service. The ideal candidate is passionate about operational excellence and leading by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous Hotel Housekeeping Leadership experience.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent guest service and hospitality experience.
Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning machines, and maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their safe handling, storage, usage, hazard recognition, and disposal methods.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Hotel Housekeeping team during your assigned shift.
Ensure guest rooms and hotel facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Observe team performance and promote exceptional guest service and positive employee relations.
Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback to help associates grow and succeed.
Assist the Hotel Housekeeping Manager with daily administrative responsibilities.
Implement operational standards, productivity goals, and service expectations.
Support staffing decisions by providing recommendations related to hiring, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action.
Identify operational opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Jump in alongside your team during busy periods to help maintain service levels.
Ensure compliance with all housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and departmental policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
