Hotel Front Desk Representative

About The Position
Provide guest service in line with SMSC GE’s Purpose, Vision, and Values. Assist guests in the front office by performing check-in and check-out functions and collecting payment for transactions. Deliver a high-level guest experience, stay current on casino and hotel promotions, and use effective sales tactics to upsell hotel offerings in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The schedule is 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., with weekends needed. Starting pay is up to $18.50 per hour, based on shift, with a $1,000 signing bonus.
Requirements
- At least one year of guest service and cash-handling experience.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English clearly.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse population.
- Working knowledge of basic computer operation.
